Plain-language guidance

We explain what is inside a formula, how servings work, and what a label actually says.

No paid placement

No brand pays to appear here, and nothing on this site is a sponsored slot.

Facts before claims

Ingredient notes come from labels and retail listings, not from marketing wording.

About Kuat Alami and how we work

An editorial resource on natural supplements for men, written for readers in Indonesia. We publish plain-language explanations of men's vitamin formulas, vitamins and minerals for men, and energy and endurance formulas — and we explain where each fact came from.

Independent editorial: we do not manufacture or sell supplements, and no brand pays to appear on these pages.

Who runs this site

The site is run by a small editorial team based at Jl. Prof. DR. Satrio No. 18, Karet Kuningan, South Jakarta. We write in English for an Indonesian audience, which means global brands and the products sold through local marketplaces and pharmacies sit on the same shelf here — no separate tier for imported lines.

You can reach the team by phone at +62 21 2906 3571 or by email at [email protected]. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

What we cover, and what we don't

We treat supplements as consumer products. That scope is narrow on purpose — it tells you exactly what a page here can and cannot answer.

Inside our scope

  • What is inside a formula, listed as the label lists it
  • Format — tablet, capsule, softgel, powder — and what that means day to day
  • Serving size, servings per pack, and how two bottles compare side by side
  • Where a product is actually sold, including local marketplaces and pharmacies

Outside our scope

  • We do not interpret symptoms or read body signals for you
  • We do not tell you whether to take a product for a personal situation
  • We do not replace a conversation with your own doctor or pharmacist
  • When a question crosses that line, we say so plainly instead of stretching an answer

How we research a product

For each product we describe, we work from the information available on the label and from retail listings. Take Purityfic Sun Vitamin D3 1000 IU: it appears in Shopee Indonesia men's supplement listings, comes as a 90-tablet product, and is marketed around 1000 IU of vitamin D3. Those are the facts we would report.

What we add underneath is the practical part: what that format and serving size mean for someone taking it daily, how many days a 90-tablet pack covers at one tablet a day, and which detail a shopper should check before comparing it with a different bottle. Where a listing is thin on detail, we say the detail is missing instead of filling it in. That is why some product notes here are shorter than others.

Source one

The product label: ingredient list, amounts per serving, format, and the serving it is sold around.

Source two

The retail listing: pack size, current format, and which marketplace or pharmacy section carries it in Indonesia.

Missing detail

When a listing does not state something, we mark it as unstated. We do not guess an amount to make a note look complete.

Editorial standards we hold to

Three rules shape everything published on this site. They exist so a reader comparing two bottles can trust that both notes were written the same way.

Rule one

Ingredient facts come from labels and retail listings, not from marketing copy.

Rule two

No paid placement changes how a product is described or where it sits on a page.

Rule three

When we don't know something, we write that we don't know it.

You will notice we stay clear of wording that frames a supplement as a medical answer. Supplements are nutritional products, and our language stays inside that boundary — amounts, format, and serving, described as the maker states them.

How we keep it current, and how conflicts are handled

Two things age faster than the rest of this site: serving sizes and the way a formula is written on a label. Both are checked when we notice drift.

Reformulations

Product ranges change. A formula can be rewritten, a pack size relisted, and a retail section rearranged. We revisit the pages where a stale number would mislead someone comparing two bottles — the comparison pages first.

Reader reports

If you spot something out of date, the contact page is the fastest route. Send the page address and the detail in question, and we will check it against the label and the live listing.

Corrections we publish

If we get a nutrient amount wrong or describe a format incorrectly, we want to know. A clear email is enough — there is no form to work through. We review reports as they arrive and update pages when the report checks out.

Paid placement

We do not accept payment for inclusion, ranking position, or favourable wording. If a future version of this site ever carries affiliate links or sponsored placement, it will be labelled clearly on the page itself, not buried in a footer.

Who this site is for

The typical reader is a man in Indonesia who already takes, or is considering, a daily supplement and wants a straight answer about what he is buying. Sometimes it is a 25-year-old comparing whole-food formulas. Sometimes it is someone older looking at age-targeted lines such as GNC Mega Men 50 Plus Daily Multivitamin. Both are welcome here.

The guidance is written for adults, and it assumes you will use it alongside normal food, sleep, and movement — the parts of a healthy lifestyle that no capsule replaces. We also cover natural capsules for strength and vitality in the same plain register, describing the format and the ingredients rather than promising an outcome.

Corrections and feedback

If we get a nutrient amount wrong or describe a format incorrectly, send the page address and the correction to [email protected]. We review reports as they arrive and update pages when the report checks out. There is no formal process to navigate; a clear email is enough. If you would rather talk it through, the team is on +62 21 2906 3571 during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Before you write, it helps to know what we can act on. If a listing has been relisted under a new pack size, we can check and update the note. If the question is about what you should take personally, we will point you back to your pharmacist or doctor rather than answer it here — that is the scope line, not a brush-off.
